Smile Hotel Kanazawa Nishiguchi Ekimae

Staff were very helpful. Room is spacious and fairly clean. Just a 5 minute walk to the station.

LocationRoom is big for japan standard

Hard pillows

very new , roomy, except the vanity, clean and comfortable.

The location was a little far from the station but not far enough to take a taxi. So it was a trouble to walk to the station with a suitcase

Location is not far from JR station. Room is not too small.

The room cleaning should be daily cleaning instead of every 3 days.

Bed experience for the excessive price we paid..avoid

We found this to be the worst value of the over ten hotels we stayed at in Japan. Despite a price point exceeding £180 ($200 USD) per night, likely inflated by a long weekend, the experience was unjustifiable. The room and bed were tiny, the bedsheets were old, worn, and torn, and there was no daily housekeeping. Furthermore, the breakfast was the worst of our trip - lacking basic items like fresh fruit - and the breakfast area was far too small for the number of guests. We strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.

It was a one night stay, good hotel. short walk from Kanazawa Station, quiet neighborhood. Kind staff.

The only thing I didn´t like was that exactly on our breakfast day, the coffee machine wasn´t working. But I believe it was a punctual problem.

Position, clean place and well equipped. Staff kind and helpful

Location was great. Walking distance to numerous coffee shops, restaurants, main subway station and 7/11. Surprisingly spacious rooms. Lots of free amenities available if needed.

The hotel rooms were very clean, comfortable and had a very convenient location- 5~10 mins from Kanazawa station. The staff is very helpful, polite and well behaved. The rooms have good facilities as well- clean towels and napkins every day, free to pick toiletries at the reception and properly filled toiletries in the room too.

- clean- good breakfast- close to the train station

Size of the room, good amenities

No coffee available

The staffs are superb! I didn’t expect the kindness they have shown me. They went above and beyond their role. I left my phone in an Uber and all I planned was to leave my friend’s contact number in the hotel to let us know in case the uber driver is kind enough to return it. I was ready to let it go as we were leaving kanazawa at that moment. But as soon as I talked to the staffs, Tanaka (I apologize if my memory of your name is wrong) straightaway started locating the uber. In about an hour, I had my phone back. I am very thankful to that 4 exceptional staffs working that afternoon. The hotel itself is modern, comfortable, spotless and has all the basics one needs. Location is great. Only less than 10min walk from the train station. Exceptionally quiet & safe to be in an urban area. The restaurant serves delicious breakfast. Somebody was always there to make sure there was no empty tray & even the tiniest mess in the area. Highly recommended.

The property was clean, with enough facility for a nice stay

The bed was a bit hard. My back hurt a bit

Staff friendly. Room was very clean. About 5 minute walk from train station. Rooms are a bit bigger for Japan . Basic but decent price

Great location near the station, quiet and comfortable - washing clothes facility

Nothing, all excellent

Hotel was near the train station so it was easy to locate ad get to. The triple room was big and even had a long desk facing the window. Toilet was spacious and clean. The side of the beds had charging points with dimmable lights! It is a comfortable, clean, and spacious hotel, very worth it!

NIL! :)

Good location, close to station, but a bit of walking from omechi market, samuray and geisha street, but doable

Breakfast buffet has many choices. Close to station.

Pillow very hard.Best to provide drinking water.

besssttt the staffs were very kind and the room was clean and comfy, it’s not too far from the train station as well and the location is in a quiet neighborhood

Great hotel close to the train station, in a calm area.
